Alexandra is a Yoga Teacher, Holistic Wellness Coach and Founder of Rewild.
Rewild was created following years of exploring personal development, coaching and a range of healing modalities. While each offered value, there became a sense that something was missing.
Like many women, Alexandra had a complicated relationship with her body growing up. Although she felt a pull towards yoga, she held back from fully stepping into the practice, believing she didn’t fit the mould. Without a background in gymnastics or dance, she questioned whether she truly belonged in that space.
But Alex kept feeling the pull and before long, Yoga became a space where she could meet everything as it was, with honesty and presence, realising that yoga was so much more than a physical practice.
This led her to Rishikesh, India, where she began her journey to becoming a yoga teacher. During that time, she had an experience that would go on to shape her approach to teaching. While struggling with a pose, she asked for guidance and was met with the instruction to “just do it.” It highlighted something important - not every body can access a pose in the same way and that instruction without support creates disconnection rather than progress.
Her teaching is now rooted in a different approach, one that prioritises intelligent progression, thoughtful modifications and a deep respect for the individual body. Each class is designed to meet you where you are, while building the strength, awareness and confidence to expand what feels possible over time - body, mind and spirit.

Alexandra continues to study with her teachers on a weekly basis, maintaining a strong connection to the lineage and discipline of the practice. This ongoing commitment reflects her belief that teaching is an extension of continued learning and that depth comes from consistency.
For her, yoga is not about changing who you are, but about developing the capacity to be with yourself more fully. With steadiness, with awareness and with a level of presence, on and off the mat.
Through Yoga, Workshops, Women’s Circles and Retreats, her work is centred on creating spaces that support a deeper connection to the body, a stronger sense of self-trust and a more grounded way of moving through life.
Alex teaches weekly yoga classes across East Yorkshire, Sancton, Market Weighton and at David Lloyd in York - Europe's leading Health Group.
“This work is not just about mastering poses or getting more flexible. It’s about becoming more present, more patient, more grounded, not just on the mat, but in everyday life.
It’s not about getting better at yoga, it’s about getting better at life.”
